Serious indications of destabilizing intentions from Serbia inside Kosovo.

Bratislav Dikic, also assisted by Milan Radojicic, seems to have been authorized by the state structure of Serbia to tense the situation, especially in the north of Kosovo.
The tension in the security situation seems to be related to the process of membership of Kosovo in the Council of Europe, but also to the real possibility of the official steps of the separation of the Republika Srpska from Bosnia during these weeks.

In the process of membership in the Council of Europe (CoE), the eventual proceeding of the Association’s Draft Statute in the Constitutional Court has become a serious issue for Kosovo.

But what happened since the attack in Banjska:

• On September 24, 2023, Serbia organized an attack through a Paramilitary Group in Banjska.

• On October 21, 2023, the EU mediator brought the draft Statute of the Association to Pristina.

• On October 26, 2023, in a meeting with several European leaders, Prime Minister Kurti agreed to sign the Draft Statute as part of the package, but on the condition that Serbia also signs it.

• On March 22, 2024, Osmani-Kurti-Konjufca officially pledged to proceed with the Association, even without the signing of the package by Serbia, after joining the Council of Europe.

• On April 3, 2024, Quint officially requested the Government of Kosovo to proceed with the Draft Statute of the Association in the Constitutional Court before joining the Council of Europe.

• On April 16, 2024, the Parliamentary Assembly of Kosovo voted in favor of Kosovo’s membership.

• On May 16-17, 2024, the Ministerial level of the Council of Europe will decide on the vote on Kosovo’s membership.
